Hello everyone and welcome back to Monday Night Raw! Tonight is the go-home edition of Raw before Money in the Bank! We here at Wrestling News World also want to send out our deepest condolences to the victims of the shooting in Orlando this weekend, and to the LGBT community at large. This was a terrible, terrible tragedy and I hope that the world gathers together to spread love after this and not try to use it to their personal agendas.
Question of the Week: If you could give any NXT superstar a “re-debut” or a restart on the main roster who would it be and why?
Raw opens with all the superstars on the stage for a moment of silence for the victims of the attacks in Orlando.
AWWWW NEW ORLEANS! DON’T YOU DARE BE SOUR!
Kofi- Wooooo. This Sunday at Money in the Bank only on the WWE Network the New Day will defend our WWE World Tag Team Championships! Against not one, oh no! Not two, oh no! But three other teams! But who are these other teams!?
Woods and Big E stare down at Kofi’s sneakers.
Kofi- You’re not who-ing, this is where we who.
Woods- Why are you wearing these old people shoes?
Kofi- Nah, these are the Steph Curry shoes. These are hot in the streets right now.
E- What streets?! Connecticut?
Kofi- I mean those are some hot streets.
E- You got on orthopezes.
Woods- The “I’ve fallen and can’t get up 12’s”
E- The Shuffleboard 6’s
Kofi- Look I don’t care what you say, what anyone says these shoes are fire baby! I’m a shoe guy. Regardless of our shoes, at Money in the Bank we will walk out with these titles around our waists? Why BECAUUUSE.
E- NEW DAY ROCKS!–
Enzo and Cass interupt
Enzo- MY NAME IS ENZO AMORE AND I AM A CERTIFIED G AND A BONAFIDE STUD AND YOU CAN’T TEACH THAT! AND THIS RIGHT HERE IS BIG CASS AND HE’S 7 FOOT TALL AND YOU CAN’T TEACH THAT! BADA BOOM REALIST GUYS IN THE ROOM HOW YOU DOIN!?
Woods- We’re good actually.
Cass- This Sunday at Money in the Bank me and Zo have our first chance at the Tag Team Championships and we are going to Vegas, we’re going all in, and we’re walking out with the titles. We all cool, we cool with everything you’ve been doing. Your unicorns, your cereal, your massagers for “her pleasure” sticking out of your foreheads.
New Day- Yup. Yup. Yup.
Cass- But if we’re gonna be teaming up tonight I’ve got one question….Kofi are you serious with those Jerry Seinfeld shoes you got on?!
Woods and E- OOHHH HE GOT YOU HE GOT YOU!
Woods- Correction it’s the I have a Bass Pro Shop Membership card 9s.
Kofi- Respect your veteran! Respect the shoes!
Cass- He’s right let’s talk about something else, let’s talk about Franny. Your girl Franchesca 2, is your girl right. Where was she last night. Last night she was with Enzo.
Cass- And Enzo had his lips ALL over her!
Enzo- You wanna talk about Franny there. Franky. Franny. Last night we might have been in New Orleans but she’s no Saint. I had Franny out on Bourbon Street, I was pouring bourbon down her lip piece. What a wonderful world and I was playing with her like Louie Armstrong. Enzo had her going ALL NIGHT LONG!
Woods- I am the only one who blows my girl!
Kofi- And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The verbal jousting between Enzo and Cass and the New Day! Let’s go!
Gotch- If the children’s section of the ring will fall silent for a moment…
English- That’s you morons.
Gotch- Only real men who represent a bygone era can provide this city true entertainment.
English- You see, IT’S A NEW ERA AND THE NEW TAG CHAMPS WILL BEEEE THE GREATEST TEAM THERE IS IN WWE (he sang this all).
Gallow and Anderson interrupt.
Anderson- All of you shut up! What is this camp WWE’s annual talent show? Listen playtime is over boys.
Gallows- We hate to be the fun police, wait no we don’t. This Sunday there will only be one team with those titles in the air and that’ll be us. Based on this showing it’ll be easier than scoring on the New Orleans Saints.
Cass- Since we’re in the Big Easy, I’m gonna make this real easy. You 4 there is only one word to describe you and I’m gonna spell it out for you! S-A-W-F-T!

English takes out Cass and Gallows and Anderson hit the Magic Killer on Kofi for the win.
Winners: Gallows and Anderson & The VaudeVillains
Backstage Shane walks into the office with Steph. They argue about who should run Smackdown when Corporate Kane walks in and says he should run Smackdown. He gives them a resume and letter of recommendation from The Undertaker.
Backstage Ryder is telling people about how Crews blindsided Sheamus on Smackdown. Sheamus walks up and asks him if he thought it was funny. When Ryder says he did Sheamus tells him he won’t be laughing after their match tonight.
Titus O’Neil makes his way down for a match but Rusev blasts him from behind as he’s coming down the ramp. Rusev slams him into the ramp and throws him around the ramp area. Rusev locks in the Accolade on the ramp until a group of refs run out to pull him off. Rusev holds up his title over Titus.
Dean- Back by popular demand, ladies and gentlemen the Ambrose Asylum! Now they say WrestleMania only happens once or year so I don’t know if I hit a time warp or something but this Sunday feels like another WrestleMania. We have two matches that could easily main event WrestleMania. Two years in the making, Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns. A lot of questions will be answered this Sunday. Can Cena hang with the new era? Will Charlotte ever be the same without her dad? What does Chris Jericho sound like falling off a ladder? Who is better Seth or Roman? My first guest, the scum of the Earth, Seth Rollins. *Seth enters* And the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. *Roman enters*
Dean- This is great huh? This is fun. Let’s get down to it, it’s a talk show so I have to talk. It’s a good deal. Seth you suffered a devastating knee injury. Seth…how’s the knee?
Seth- Have you not watched my special on the WWE Network? I’ll take that as a no. My knee is 100% ready to go.
Dean- Good. Good. What about your face does it hurt?
Dean- Cause it’s killing me! Falls for it every time. How about you Roman, how’s the big easy treating you? *boos*
Roman- Good, mixed tonight but it was better last night on Bourbon Street.
Dean- What about you Seth, have some margaritas? I know they give you a headache. Come on sourpuss it’s a talk show, relax! No one is trying to jump out of a christmas box and beat you up, chill! Smile! Have fun! We all haven’t been in the ring together in how long? We had so much fun back then!
Seth- I’m not a party pooper. We did have some good times! I mean, New Orleans. Superdome, we took out those old bogies the New Age Outlaws at WrestleMania. What about London, the Helicopter and wrestled The Undertaker and Team Hell No. Roman, Oos, remember Japan that sushi tray that went all around. We did have some good times. What about when we found Ambrose unconscious by that dumpster. Where was that, Oklahoma? The best times I ever had in this ring were with you guys. We won titles together, traveled the world together. The 6 man tags were legendary. Or the matches against Wyatt family. How about Evolution? We sent big Batista packing. If you think about it, Dave owes us because now he’s a big movie star. For real though, the best time I ever had in a ring with you guys was when I took a chair and put it in your back. Dean I know you weren’t there, but at WrestleMania when I stole your moment and cashed in my Money in the Bank contract and became the first memeber of the Shield to become WWE Champion.
Dean- HAHAHAHA! Yeah. Well let’s keep things on track. Roman, what can we expect at Money in the Bank.
Roman- Big dog walks in as champ and walks out as champ.
Dean- I think it’s funny because Seth here thinks he’s the rightful champion. Isn’t that right, Seth?
Seth- Did he ever beat me for that Championship?
Dean- Ok I know I didn’t really explain the runs, but it’s my show I ask the questions. Roman how do you feel about that.
Roman- If you’re the rightful champion why do I have this?
Dean- I JUST explained to Seth, my show I ask the questions. Kinda my deal. Seth, why does he have this.
Seth- He’s got that because my knee caved out from carrying this company for all of last year. While I was gone, he earned it. At Survivor Series, he beat you Dean. At WrestleMania he beat the Game Triple H. So yeah, he earned it. One thing you haven’t done is beat ME. Because you CAN’T beat me, because I’m better than you. I’m two steps ahead! We are a lot alike, but there is one big difference. You wouldn’t have that without me. I created the Shield. If I hadn’t hurt myself, you wouldn’t have had the chance. I earned everything own my own! At Money in the Bank I will win back my title on my own!
Dean- On your own. Ok so no J & J security? No Authority, Corporate Kane, Army, Navy?
Roman- No he’s right he did it on his own. He broke up the Shield on his own, he screwed us over on his own. You didn’t just break up a group you broke up a brotherhood. We were your boys, your friends, we had your back. The only ones who had your back! For what? Limelight? You wanna be the man, run around here saying you’re the man. You’ll have the spotlight Sunday, and after Sunday they’ll call me THE guy not because I’m the champ but because I beat YOU.
Dean- There you have it, this Sunday World Heavyweight Championship on the light. The question is who walks out as champion? Seth Rollins? Or Roman Reigns? The Guy. Who is it gonna be? Or…or. What if I win the Money in the Bank Contract and whether it’s Seth or Roman…I cash in the same night and walk out as WWE World Heavyweight Champion!
Seth shoves Dean in Reigns and Ambrose fights back. Roman throws Dean off Seth and tries to attack but Seth counters. Dean attacks Seth again. Dean turns around and hits Dirty Deeds on Roman! Dean stands tall!
Dean is walking backstage and Steph joins him. She tells him he turned the show all about him. Dean tells her it was pretty cool. She tells him tonight he’ll face Chris Jericho. She asks him if all that hatred and poison in her veins is contagious? She tells him it can be good if you know how to use it.
Paige vs. Charlotte w/ Becky and Natty on commentary
Charlotte takes control but Paige fights back and hits a wicked running knee to the face of Charlotte. They exchange chops and Paige hits a Superkick and gets a 2 count. Paige shows some frustration. Charlotte rolls Paige in a small package and gets 2. Charlotte tries for her submission but can’t lock it in. Big boot from Charlotte. Charlotte tries again but Paige kicks Charlotte out of the ring. Dana runs up to protect her and rolls Charlotte back in the ring. Charlotte wasn’t ready and gets hit with the RamPaige for the win!
Charlotte is furious and tells Dana to get her title.
Backstage Renee asks Cesaro about Money in the Bank. Sami Zayn walks in and says he is just there because he figured Renee would want both sides of things since they’re wrestling each other tonight. Cesaro tells Sami he’s being extremely rude and this is just like Sami. Cesaro tells Sami he acts like a child. Sami tells him they’re in the same match tonight, they’re in the same match Sunday, as far as he’s concerned they are equals. Cesaro tells Sami he’s been in WWE for 4 years, Sami has been in WWE 4 months. Cesaro doesn’t see them as equals.
Charlotte is yelling at Dana for what she did. She tells her there is no room at the top for errors. She tells Dana they have some work to do before Sunday.

Sheamus continues the beatdown after the match but Crews runs out for the save. Crews sends Sheamus out of the ring and continues to attack him. Sheamus runs through the crowd to get away.
Backstage Shane is talking to Kane when Kevin Owens walks in. He says he doesn’t want to talk behind anyone’s back but Del Rio just showed up and he thinks that’s a little disrespectful to the company. Shane asks what Kevin suggests he do? Kevin suggests taking Del Rio out of the Money in the Bank match. Del Rio bursts in and says he knows it was Owens who told airport security he was a threat! Del Rio starts talking in Spanish. Owens asks Del Rio if he thinks he’s cool because he speaks another language and then reminds him he’s not the only one who can, and starts speaking in French. Kane yells over them and suggests that if he were in charge that he’d put them in a team building match tonight. Del Rio and Owens against the Lucha Dragons and if they lose then the Dragons take their spot at Money in the Bank. Shane thinks that’s a great idea and sets the match.
Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn
They lock up to start and Cesaro gets behind Zayn. Sami twists the arm but Cesaro does his flopping fish move. Sami out to the apron but flips over Cesaro to get back in and hits a hurricarana. 2 count. Headlock by Zayn. Sami leaps at Cesaro and it caught MIDAIR and slammed down. Sami goes for a springboard move but Cesaro hits an uppercut before he can get up and Sami crashes to the floor below. We head to break.
We return and Sami is trying to fight out of Cesaro’s control. Sami does and hits a crossbody off the middle rope. Cesaro fights back with an Uppercut and gets the Uppercut Train going. Cesaro goes for the swing but Sami fights out only for Cesaro to do a big jumping stomp! Sami gets up and hits a HUGE clothesline and Michinoku driver! Sami gets a 2 count. Sami goes up top but Cesaro hits a dropkick to knock Sami off. Cesaro runs up and hits a Suplex from the top rope over the ropes! Cesaro goes for the Neutralizer but Sami lands on his feet. Sami tries something of his own but Cesaro lands on his feet! Cesaro goes for a powerbomb but Sami flips it into a Sunset Flipping Powerbomb! 1-2-3!
Winner: Sami Zayn
Cena- We got a rowdy audience here in New Orleans tonight. This Sunday Money in the Bank might as well be WrestleMania. Money in the Bank contract on the line, Champion vs. A man who never lost the Championship, 2 living legends face off. You guys know I love WWE, I believe this is the top of sports entertainment. For whatever reason the decision makers told AJ Styles he didn’t belong here. That’s where I get respect for AJ. He went around the world and made a name for himself. I have won 15 World Championships here in WWE, he was won more outside WWE. He is the single greatest man to never wrestle in WWE. Then Shane McMahon comes in and says no we want that man! So the man in the WWE faces the man from around the world. Tonight we’re going to do this a little different, I talked to Shane McMahon, Michael Cole you might wanna get out of the ring it’s going to get a little messy in here. Now we just need Mr. AJ Styles.
AJ comes to the ring- For the past 2 weeks I have turned your world upside down. Speaking of the world they’re still talking about what I did to you last week. You know what John at Money in the Bank I’m gonna do it again. When that bell rings I’m going to run circles around you and I’ll be the one saying you can’t see me. Because you can’t BEAT me. Now where do I sign.
Cena- That depends on you. There are two contracts here. One that is John Cena vs. AJ Styles 1 on 1. Another contract that is AJ Styles and the Club vs. John Cena.
AJ- What do you mean?
Cena- One contract is 15 years of what if is answered. If you fight with the Club I will go out and fight my very best and you’ll win. You’ll win and secure that you’re captain of the bitch club. Or you could sign this one and bring back the electricity we had the first time! Finally can the underdog slay the giant. You sign this, we get a real answer to What If?
AJ- I see what you’re doing here John. You don’t think I can beat you 1 on 1. Is it because you’re a 15 time World Champion. Because you won the Royal Rumble twice. OR because you’re the face that runs the place. You wanna talk about what ifs. What if I was here 15 years ago? I’ll tell you, you wouldn’t be a 15 time world champion, you wouldn’t have won the Royal Rumble twice, you wouldn’t be on crappy tv shows and in crappy movies, you wouldn’t be the face that runs the place!
Cena- SHUT UP! Enough man! Your club isn’t full of bullets it’s full of bull! I give you a chance and you whine and complain like every other indy guy who thinks they could’ve if they had the chance. You’ve got that chance right now, so sign it and prove me wrong. Or sign the other one and prove that you don’t need a bullet train back to Japan where you left your balls!
AJ signs the contract with no Club help- You’re gonna find out I’m not every other independent worker. Maybe you’ll get the message your time is up and my time is now.

The match starts with Del Rio attacking Kalisto. Kevin yells at him to listen to the ref because he doesn’t want to get disqualified. ADR tags Owens in aggressively. Owens has to roll Del Rio back in to avoid the count out. Sin Cara tags in and hits the Swanton on Alberto. Owens runs in to break up the pin to save his spot at Money in the Bank. Owens tags himself in and goes for the Pop Up Powerbomb but Sin Cara reverses it into a crossbody. Sin Cara with a springboard back elbow and a springboard moonsault. Kalisto tries to take out Alberto on the outside but Del Rio counters and sends Kalisto into the barricade. In the ring Sin Cara gets hit with the Pop Up Powerbomb! Kevin Owens pins Sin Cara for the win!

After the match, Del Rio and Owens fight until Del Rio rolls out.
Backstage Owens catches up with Stephanie. He tells her that he heard Sami was going to be on commentary during the Ambrose/Jericho match. Steph asks who approved that and Kevin tells her Shane did. Owens thinks he should get to be on commentary, too. Steph agrees and says Owens can be on commentary. Del Rio interrupts and says that he should get to be out there, too! Steph says he can be the guest timekeeper.
Steph walks into her shared office with Shane. He tells her she’s just trying to one-up her. He then makes Cesaro guest ring announcer for the main event. They argue and talk about Corporate Kane, who walks in. Kane says they aren’t going to make him GM of Smackdown are they? They tell him no. Kane asks Shane if it’s about the whole car battery to the testicles thing? Shane says it didn’t help his case. Shane tells Steph he’s going to keep co-running Raw AND run Smackdown. According to WWE website and also their Twitter handle @wwe, AJ Styles vs John Cena is set for the Money in the Bank Pay Per View/Special Event on Sunday 6/19.
For many years, this has been a dream match and it will finally happen on Father’s Day 6/19. I doubt WWE will mention TNA in anyway. WWE will most likely highlight Styles time in New Japan.
Hey, can this be a preview for the Smackdown Heavyweight Championship?
You never know.

Monday Night Raw
Looks like this week is going to kick off with the first ever Undisputed WWE Champion, Chris Jericho!
Chris- Shut your mouth and listen to me, my guest on the highlight reel was supposed to be Dean Ambrose, but he’s not here because of me. He suffered whiplash, a bulging disc because of me. He’s not gonna be here tonight and in the WWE possibly for a while because of me. I’ve got the next best thing right here, the remains of Mitch the potted plant. The similarities between the two are uncanny. Ambrose came here to entertain you fans but like Mitch underestimated the unstoppable force that is Chris Jericho. Like Mitch, Dean Ambrose is broke and beaten. You know what the worst thing is? I seriously injure Dean Ambrose and what do you barbarians do? You tweet about Mitch. Isn’t it fun! To talk about Mitch. Dean Ambrose was in the hospital screaming in pain, it’s not funny! You like Mitch because he’s more interesting than Ambrose, he has more worth to the WWE. I could glue him together and sell him for 12 bucks and he’d be worth more. I understand why you relate to Ambrose because he’s a loser just like you. He’s a slob, an everyman just like you. I can’t relate to that because I’m a legend, the superstar of superstars, the Haley’s Comet of WWE. You can talk about the new era but I know what you really want, I’m going to give you what you crave, the gift of Jericho. Drink it in, man. Furthermore–
Jericho is cut off by Enzo and Cass’ music. Big Cass comes out alone as Enzo is still recovering.
Cass- This is the gift of Jericho, if you ever hand me this as a gift you better give me the receipt so I can return it. How you doin’? I know exactly who you are, one of the greatest of all time. I don’t think you know what the new era is all about. We have arrived isn’t a statement, it’s a warning. I have arrived! Right now you’re standing in MY way. You better get OUT of my way or I will run through you.
Jericho- Really? You’re gonna run through me? Why don’t you run to the hospital to check on your buddy Enzo? I hear he’s in the same room as Dean Ambrose.
Cass- We don’t run in the new era Chris, we stand and fight.
Jericho- Have you forgotten I am the best in –Big Cass puts his hand over the mic and lowers it–
Cass- You might be the best at what you do, but I’m 7 foot tall and you can’t teach that.
Jericho- You wanna fight?! You wanna fight!? *Jericho takes off his jacket but then walks away*
Cass- That proves that there is just ONE WORD to describe you and I’m gonna SPELL IT OUT! S-A-W-F-T! SAAAWFFFTTT!!
Jericho runs back at Cass but eats a big boot from Cass.
Jericho walks up to Stephanie and complains about the lack of respect from the new era. Jericho says Steph is the smart McMahon, so she and he need to stop the new era together. Steph says it is Shane’s fault but here’s the problem he’s doing everything right. If Jericho wants to stop the new era he can do it tonight when he faces the 7 foot tall Big Cass. She tells Jericho to never try to drive a wedge between her and Shane …again.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
Ziggler gets behind Corbin, but Corbin backs him in the corner and attacks with elbows until Dolph releases. Corbin shoves Ziggler and talks smack but Dolph fights back and sends Corbin outside the ring. Ziggler tries to follow but eats a big knee. Dolph sends Corbin over the barricade and gets back in the ring as we go to commercial.
We return and Ziggler is fighting out of a chinlock. Ziggler hits a running clothesline and another. Big splash in the corner and into a neckbreaker from Ziggler. Standing elbow drop from Dolph but he is sent into the corner face first and then Corbin follows it with a shot to the back of the head. Ziggler plays possum and hits a fameasser! Only a 2 count. Ziggler runs into a HUGE deep 6. Ziggler barely kicks out before the 3 count. Ziggler tries to roll up Corbin but only gets 2. Ziggler gets dropped into the top turnbuckle and hit with End of Days for the win.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Charlotte and Ric join Shane backstage. Ric congratulates Shane on his match at WrestleMania and getting to run Raw. Charlotte says she doesn’t think it was fair for Steph to ban Ric from ringside. Shane says Stephanie’s decision to ban Ric at Extreme Rules and adds that Ric will be banned from Charlotte’s match tonight, too.
Jojo is with AJ, Gallows and Anderson. AJ says last week he was powerbombed through a table. He had the chance to obliterate Roman with a steel chair and look how he was repaid. He missed his chance, but he won’t go easy next chance he gets. He said in the past he doesn’t need his friends to help him win, but tonight is a tag team match and the club is back!
Fandango vs. R-Truth
They lock up and Truth eats a shoulder tackle. Fandango goes for a punch but Truth dances to stop him. Truth puts Fandango in the corner and punches away at Fandango but gets dumped out of the ring. Fandango goes out and rolls Truth back in. Fandango locks a chinlock in. Truth fights out but gets hit with a big dropkick. Fandango dances and Goldust gets on the ring side and dances, too. Breeze gets up on the side, too, and Truth uses the distraction to roll up Fandango for the win.
Kevin Owens, Miz, Maryse and Cesaro are backstage are arguing all at the same time to Steph and Shane. Miz is complaining about the Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship. Sami Zayn walks in and says he’s right, it should be a fatal four way. He says that everyone saw how the fans reacted when he held up the Intercontinental Championship last week. Shane and Steph tell Sami that’s true, but the new era is about earning things. Sami says that is fine and he’s willing to face the Miz 1 on 1. If he wins, he’s in and if he loses he’ll gladly walk away. Steph is sold and makes the match.
Paige vs. Charlotte. Ric Flair is banned.
Lock up to start and Charlotte puts Paige in the corner but Paige reverses out of the corner and locks Charlotte up in a submission. Charlotte fights out and flips Paige onto the apron. Paige hits a superkick to the face of Charlotte and then mocks Ric Flair’s dance. Charlotte runs from Paige, in and out of the ring. Charlotte stops and blasts Paige outside the ring. Back in the ring Charlotte stomps away at the midsection of Paige. Paige runs out of the corner but she runs straight into a big boot. Paige fights her way back and hits a high running knee and follows it up with a running knee to the face! Charlotte kicks out at two. Huge kick from Paige sends Charlotte crashing to the mat. Charlotte goes to the top but Paige fights her down to a seated position. Headbutts from Paige and a Superplex! Paige tries a roll-up but Charlotte counters it. 2 count. Paige tries for the PTO but Charlotte gets to the bottom rope before it gets locked in. Paige gets sent face first into the middle turnbuckle and Charlotte goes for the pin with her feet on the ropes but Natalya hops up on the ropes to distract the ref. Ric Flair runs down to the ring and Shane McMahon’s music hits and he shakes his finger “no” and brings out a bunch of referees. The do their best to get Ric to the back. The distraction allows Paige to roll up Charlotte for the win!
Sami Zayn vs. The Miz w/Maryse
Miz gets behind Sami but Sami reverses. Snapmare by Sami and a headlock on Miz. Sami sends Miz to the outside and goes for a move over the top rope but Miz pulls Maryse in front of him at the last second and Sami decides not to jump. He goes to the outside but Miz whips him at the barricade. Sami jumps up onto the barricade and hits a moonsault! Sami throws Miz into the barricade. Sami does it again. Special shoutout to Anthony Soto from YEP! I Like Wrestling Group on Facebook. Justin Labar, Josh Isenberg & Blake Mitchamore from Chairshot Reality. Kenneth Kdawg (person next to me at Mania), Frank Mossman and his crew for hospitality day of Mania, great chatting with Frank Manzo from Wrestle Reaction.
Great trip and hopefully see you all in Brooklyn for SummerSlam later this year.
Crowd still coming in, people trickling in due to security. Team Total Divas def Blondes & Team BAD. Great moment carrying Brie Bella. She is set to retire tonight.
Kalisto vs Ryback was ok. Fans were happy that Kalisto retained the US Title.
Dudley Boyz can still go. Crowd is starting to fill up. Usos great team as well. Surprised me despite no emotional attachment cause no belts or anything was on the line. Perfect place on card.
Ladder Match to open up was tough because idiots in front of me didn’t want to sit down. However, I still caught some of major spots. Sin Cara thought he broke in half. Great dark horse, Zack Ryder #AndNew Intercontinental Champion. Crowd was hot for match and for finish !
Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles started slow. Reminded me of a Jericho match from the 2000s as one of my great friends put it. Reversals, false endings etc. Great Jericho got his moment. Series is 2-2. I don’t think it was over. Crowd was tired in beginning because of ladder match but it picked up by the end.
League of Nations vs New Day was ok.
People love them some New Day. Match was ok. It did its purpose. Calm crowd down until after the match. League of Nations gets the win. Crowd erupted once Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley & Steve Austin came out. HUGE Pop for Steve Austin !!! Great entertaining post match segment. Seeing Shawn, Mick & Austin dance was too funny.
Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose. Crowd was hot for Dean Ambrose. He was recipient of 13 German Suplexes and an F5 on to chairs. For some reason it just felt anti climatic. It was hardcore. We saw fire extinguishers, kendo sticks, but I expected more from this match. Crowd cheered but it just seemed anticlimactic (at least to me).
WWE Women’s Championship
Charlotte vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks stole the show. I am happy with direction of Women’s Wrestling in the WWE. Divas term is dead. Crowd was hot for all 3 women. Having Snoop sing Sasha Banks entrance was awesome as well. Crowd you can tell wanted Sasha to win match so bad. Charlotte won, crowd upset. Think Charlotte will be Women’s Champion a bit longer. She got pyro post match. Great moment in WrestleMania and in Women’s Wrestling!
Hell in a Cell
Undertaker vs Shane McMahon.
Now that I’m a father, I appreciated Shane coming out with his kids. His kids had never seen him wrestle. Great sight to see. Match started slow but wow what high spots. Coast to Coast, jumping off the cell, amazing. Made match so memorable. Crowd was HHHOOOTTT for those two spots. Also Taker slamming Shane through part of cell to open it up was cool to see as well. After all of the speculation and lack of quality build, match itself was really entertaining. Crowd happy Undertaker 23-1.
Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Andre the Giant is one of the most respected human beings in our business, ever. Love the placement of this match. Should be like this all of the time. It is a big deal. For the right person, it is a great rub. Baron Corbin I am satisfied with as winner. I also loved surprise entrants such as Shaquille O’neal, DDP & Tatanka. Crowd was tired, drained but it was perfect spot for what was about to happen.
Lilian Garcia comes out and Introduces the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They did a number and out comes The Rock. Crowd absolutely exploded !!. He set his name on fire. That was awesome. He announced he all time WrestleMania record of 101, 673. After that, the Wyatt Family come out. Placed had their cell phone lights on. Wyatt talking crazy talk. It pissed off The Rock.
Rock took off his shirt and tearaway pants and was in ring gear. I marked out (I have to admit it). He calls for referee and Rock was willing to take on any member of Wyatt Family. Erick Rowan was the man chosen for the job.
The Rock vs Erick Rowan
Six seconds. Rowan takes a Rockbottom and loses in 6 seconds. Just when you think Rock is in trouble post mania, Out comes John Cena. Place went nuts !!! Rock and Cena clean house. Celebrate at the end. Crowd was HYPED. Amazing segment/match.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H vs Roman Reigns. Crow love Stephanie McMahon in her Beyoncé attire.
She introduced her husband Triple H. Out comes Roman Reigns. Crowd let him have it. It almost felt as Triple H was face and Roman was the heel. On a side note some people left after Rock segment. People were not happy with inevitable. Typical Triple H match. Likes to tell a story, very slow in the beginning. It picked up at the end. Especially once Reigns speared Stephanie. Great tease with sledgehammer. Roman wins the championship for the 3rd time. Crowd let him have it afterwards. Some were happy but others were furious he won championship.
Overall, it was a quick and great experience.

I hope you enjoyed WrestleMania and my notes .
Unless there is is some type of swerve, most likely it will be Triple H vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. How do you fill 100,000 seats in AT & T Stadium on 4/3? Supercard you would think right? The problem is that all of your established stars are injured. Your part-timers are busy with other projects or physically can’t get in the ring (Rock, Austin etc).
You still have a great depth of talent between NXT and WWE main roster. However, how do you book the Undertaker? His streak ended at WrestleMania 30 at the hands of Brock Lesnar. He is now 22-1 at WrestleMania. Undertaker had a busy 2015 as compared to several years ago.
Wrestled at WrestleMania, appearance at Battleground, Wrestled at SummerSlam, Hell in a Cell and Survivor Series in 2015. Has been in the WWE for over 25 years. More than some people have been alive. Will this be his swan song? Will he ride into the sunset and in his home state, retire?
Only Taker knows that. Every card whether it’s MMA or Boxing or Pro Wrestling should have a good co-main event. Undertaker is that guy to help with the co-main event. Who does he wrestle?
I know Sting is headlining the Hall of Fame. It won’t be first time an inductee gets inducted that Saturday night and wrestle at WrestleMania to retire (Flair WM 24 in 2008). It is a definite dream match. Yes it is 16 years too late. However if you keep it short, I think it will be fine. The problem is how severe is Sting’s neck. That is why this match may be just a dream and not a dream match.
I know Cena is injured with his shoulder issues. It won’t be first time Cena returns from injury early. He surprised us all at Royal Rumble 2008. How do you anchor WrestleMania with a great co-main event? You pair up Undertaker versus the “Hulk Hogan” of this era. Worse case scenario, he can wrestle Taker and take time off after WrestleMania. It doesn’t get bigger than the biggest star of this generation. I personally think that is why Taker hasn’t been named an opponent yet. WWE officials are awaiting to see how Cena is healing and will make a decision soon.
World Title Picture
Wrestlezone wrote an article about Taker being in the World Title picture. I like the idea. It will give some emphasis even more on title picture. The problem is that it would overshadow Roman Reigns moment. I don’t think WWE officials want to do that. In my opinion, they want to give Reigns his moment. Although this can be a great plan C or D.
In conclusion, I think WWE is monitoring both Cena and Sting. If none can wrestle on 4/3, I can see him in title picture but I think it would be an absolute last resort. Taker deserves an established star in his final bout at WrestleMania. Time will tell, time will tell.

WWE Smackdown was taped in Memphis, Tennessee this week. The show opened with Roman Reigns versus Rusev, only for a DQ finish when Alberto Del Rio interfered. Dean Ambrose then made the save, which established the tag main event, Reigns and Ambrose versus Rusev and Del Rio.
Kalisto defeated Kevin Owens in a US Title match, with help from guest commentator Dolph Ziggler. Owens then attacked both men in the aftermath.
Ryback defeated Erick Rowan, getting his new Goldberg look off to a good start. Braun Strowman made an attack afterwards, but Ryback got away.
AJ Styles defeated The Miz via The Calf Killer submission. Chris Jericho was on commentary and cut a promo post match, challenging Styles to a match next week. The babyface of course accepted, meaning that next week’s Smackdown is not to be a missed. Styles versus Jericho 2 should be excellent.
The New Day defeated The Social Outcasts.
Charlotte defeated Alicia Fox with the Figure Eight, and Brie Bella was at ringside. This is part of the development of Charlotte versus Brie for Fastlane.
In the main event, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated Rusev and Alberto Del Rio, with Reigns predictably getting the pin on Del Rio after a spear.
